Wells Burcombe achieves enhanced ranking from the Legal 500
Wells Burcombe is delighted to have risen in the rankings in the 2020 Legal 500 guide, published on 25th September, for its criminal work in the South East.
The Legal 500 is an annual publication that ranks UK law firms and solicitors based on detailed analysis of submissions from firms, extensive research within the profession and client/referrer feedback interviews.
The guide states that Wells Burcombe ‘offers a boutique service that is closely tailored to the individual needs of each client’. The guide notes Wells Burcombe’s ‘specialisms in the areas of historic sexual offences, prison law, and appellate work, in addition to violent crime and drug offences.’
Testimonials from the client feedback interviews are included in the guide and highlight Wells Burcombe’s client care strengths: ‘They have a sensitivity to the pressures of those facing criminal charges that sets them apart – their client care is exceptional.’
Commenting on the improved ranking, Alan Burcombe, Partner at Wells Burcombe, said: “We have a significant reputation in the field of criminal defence, criminal appeals and regulatory matters, so we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised by the Legal 500 guide, particularly as rankings are based on objective client feedback and current cases. Our improved ranking is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our staff who have all helped contribute to the firm’s success.”
Since being established in 2008, Wells Burcombe has become known as one of the ‘go-to’ criminal defence, criminal appeals and prison law firms in the South East, and has steadily expanded its services to include Family Law, Immigration, Tax, Trusts and Succession Planning.
